Philosophy of the Department

The philosophy of the Nursing Science program is to prepare competent, compassionate, and ethical nursing professionals who provide evidence-based care across diverse healthcare settings. Our program integrates theoretical knowledge with extensive clinical practice to develop critical thinking and clinical judgment skills.

The curriculum emphasizes holistic patient care, health promotion, disease prevention, and leadership in healthcare. Graduates will be equipped to address Nigeria's healthcare challenges, contribute to health policy development, and pursue advanced nursing education. We are committed to producing nurses who uphold the highest standards of professional practice.
