B.sc Peace and Conflict Resolution

Philosophy of the Department

The philosophy of the Peace and Conflict Resolution program is to develop skilled peacebuilders who understand the root causes of conflict and can design effective interventions. Our curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge with practical skills in mediation, negotiation, and conflict transformation to prepare students for diverse peacebuilding contexts.

We emphasize ethical engagement, cultural sensitivity, and sustainable approaches to conflict resolution. The program aims to produce graduates who can contribute to peace processes at local, national, and international levels, promote social cohesion, and advance justice in post-conflict societies.

"Peace is not the absence of conflict, but the ability to handle conflict by peaceful means."

— Ronald Reagan
